Can Marijuana Kill Brain Cells?

It has been rumored around society for a long time that marijuana kills your brain cells but these claims are false. Scientists have tested this over and over again and have found there is no proof or even evidence to blame marijuana for the lose of brain cells.

Most commonly marijuana is used by rolling it into a joint, a small cigarette containing marijuana instead of tobacco, and then smoked as one would a cigarette. Cannabis can also be smoked out of a pipe or a bong. Other then smoking the herb your other opinions would be baking the herb into some kind of food or brewing it into marijuana tea.

How Many People Use Marijuana?

In 2007, the National Survey on Drug Use and Health released it results with reports that nearly 15 million Americans used marijuana within the last month. The U.S population being at 302.2 million in 2007 means that 5% of Americans smoked weed during that month in 2007.

Well off the top of my head we got weed, ganja, dank, sticky, dro, diezel, “that fire”, bomb, green, bud, piff. What is Marijuana?

The word “Marijuana” is actually only a 1930's Mexican slang word for cannabis. Most used when referring to the leaves, stems and flowers of the cannabis sativa plant. Cannabis is know for containing more then 400 chemicals, with it's main active chemical being THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol ).
