There are lots of places that cops like to hide but here are the 5 most popular. You should read the list so you will always know where to look for them. If you know where to look for cops you will highly decrease your chances of being pulled over and arrested.

#1. At Bottom Of A Hill

This is one of the better places that cops hide because by the time you see them you are already within radar range and caught. When I say at the bottom of a hill I do not mean coming down a large hill, but a small hill that the car would remind just out of view with the hill blocking it until you go up the hill yourself. The are more like bumps in the road that provide cover for the officer.

#2 In Plain Sight

Something cops pull the side of the road and turn their lights on and just wait. You would be surprised the amount of people that fall for this cop trick. People know that if a cop has someone pulled over he isn’t paying attention to any other car. His attention is directed toward the car at hand for his own safety. Because of this people will continue to speed or recklessly drive thinking that cop has no time to react. I am sure that the asshole’s that continue to speed feel stupid every time.

#3 Behind ANYTHING

The main reason’s cop hide is to remain out of view until you are caught in the act of doing something illegal, after that it is there job to make themselves seen as quickly as possible. And the best way to do this is to hide. This isn’t like the hide and go seek your played as a kid, because cars are large and often hard to hide. Cops will use anything they can to prevent you from seeing them including signs, groups of trees, corners of building Anything really. If your on a long long stretch of road and our cop detector starts going off, look ahead. I bet you the cop is hiding behind the old taco bell sign down the road, or behind all the bushes there.

#4 Around The Bend

Read the At the Bottom of a Hill description and just imagine it sideways, same thing.

#5 Parking Lots

Parking lots are perfect places for cops to hide for many reasons. One being that your brain recognizes that cars are normal in parking lots and does not send up a flag that anything is unusual. If a cop was to sit on the side of the road you would immediately notice that he doesn’t belong, causing you to give it more thought, leading to you discovering that he is a cop.
